Profession: Income Tax Lawyer.

My father late Md. Helal Miah started a watch business in the 1960’s in Sherpur district town (Mymensingh Division) called ‘Geneva Watch Co’. To solve the various problems of the traders, he established various professional societies/associations with the traders and led the traders and was one of the organizers in establishing the Sherpur Banik Samity, later transformed into Sherpur Chamber of Commerce and industry. He also took an active part in establishing various mosques and madrasas. He never wanted me to do business. 

He wanted me to do various official functions. I had a strong desire to do business. 

I passed SSC from GK Pilot High School, Sherpur district headquarters, passed Intermediate in Commerce Department from Dhaka Education Board through Sherpur Government College, Bachelor Degree in Commerce Department under Dhaka University and Management in Commerce Department from Jagannath University (then under National University) received a master’s degree from the department. 

In 1995, I joined Bangladesh’s largest NGO BRAC. After that I worked in various positions in the head office of the pharmaceutical company and as the head of the distribution department. Later I worked as General Manager (GM) in various other companies. Undertake multiple different trainings for various commercial jobs. I htaken a Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) from National University during employment and Post-Graduation Diploma (PGD) in Supply Chain Management taken by the supervission of BIMS in Bangladesh and Edqual in England and also part-time teaching in Law at a law college in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. After resigning from the job and having sufficient educational qualification as per National Board of Revenue (NBR) procedure, passed the internship period, cleared written test, oral test and got enrolled as an Income Tax lawyer. 

In my working life, various legal complications of businessmen and companies including various taxes, VAT, contact with many types of people and their various legal problems due to professional reasons, I closely observe and realize how helpless people and businessmen are before the law due to not following the proper legal framework , but there are excellent solutions within the law. 

On the other hand, my business desire, my father’s desire to keep myself busy with official work, my higher education in commerce department, my law degree and various trainings, my strong desire to solve the legal problems of businessmen and common people, I decided that if I can become an efficient income tax lawyer, all my wishes Innovative ways of fulfilling and serving people By being able to give, one can gain peace of mind and fulfill professional responsibilities, including professional responsibility and social responsibility, as well as the opportunity to play an effective role for the country, the nation. My wife Rokeya Yasmin Runu has contributed greatly to the quality of my professional work. 

So, along with my Rashed & Associates, Rokeya Yasmin Runu as the Chairman and myself as the Managing Director, I formed an organization called Geneva Support Services Limited to provide multifaceted services. People want the solution of many things from one place. As much as possible to meet the needs of people, we try our best to be highly educated and Recruiting/nominating skilled professionals, along with quality companies/Organisations, Geneva Support Services Ltd. takes up-to-date activities in serving clients in the Managing Partner system.

At present we provide seamless services to domestic, foreign organizations and Bangladeshi people and foreign nationals working in Bangladesh, our Geneva Support Services Limited is moving forward.
